Great board but not a great first board for a beginner

The construction quality seems really good and I like the wide width. However, for a beginner board it is incredibly stiff. I've tried to work it myself to get it softer, but I would say it's a mid flex board comparable to some adult mid flex boards. It has very little torsional twist critical for young rider.
